After new sites are integrated, it is important to perform functionality check to ensure that new site are well functioned from radio network perspective. Includes in functionality check are test call and handover checks. Next step is to perform initial tuning to ensure that new sites are meeting certain level of performance, normally defined as Key Performance Indicators. Activities included are: review new site radio related parameters, statistical data collection, drive test data collection, radio network parameter adjustment, antenna tilting and orientation and reporting.

Output of this activity is a site that meets certain level of performance (KPI Target) and a report describing activities performed. This service is not only applicable for new sites but also for upgraded sites.
